Overview

What began as a resort community on 50 acres of prime riverfront property in St. Charles more than 100 years ago has flourished into nearly 1,500 acres of park land featuring playgrounds, playfields, community centers, aquatic facilities, an environmental education center, a 9-hole golf course, a substantial trail system, dog parks and more. The award-winning district offers recreation opportunities for all ages, all interests and all abilities.

From special events and outdoor adventures to youth programs, arts, fitness, and environmental stewardship initiatives, the organization serves as a vital hub for inclusive and engaging recreation services within the St. Charles community and beyond.
