Overview

MCNC is a nonprofit telecommunications organization based in North Carolina. It focuses on building, owning, and operating broadband infrastructure and technology services for anchor institutions throughout the state. With over 4,400 miles of fiber optic infrastructure, the organization ensures that all 100 counties, including underserved and rural areas, have access to secure and affordable high-speed internet.

The organization offers a range of technology services, including high-speed internet connectivity, cybersecurity solutions, data center services, consulting support, and collaboration tools. It serves a diverse clientele such as universities, K-12 schools, healthcare institutions, libraries, government organizations, and nonprofits.
