How DevRev Scaled Pipeline 4x with a Native Bitscale Integration into Their Own CRM
DevRev is a next-generation developer-centric CRM and support platform bridging the gap between engineers and end customers — enabling product, support, and sales to operate from a single source of truth.
About DevRev
DevRev is a next-generation developer-centric CRM and support platform founded in 2020 in Palo Alto. Built on an API-first architecture, DevRev bridges the gap between engineering teams and end customers — enabling product, support, and sales to collaborate around a single source of truth.
Series C funded with a rapidly growing team, DevRev operates in a competitive market where pipeline velocity and rep efficiency are critical growth levers — and uniquely, they build the CRM software that many GTM teams rely on themselves.
The Challenge
As DevRev scaled its go-to-market motion, the BD team faced a challenge that required a non-standard solution. Unlike most companies, DevRev runs on its own internal CRM — their own product. That meant standard out-of-the-box Bitscale integrations built for HubSpot or Salesforce simply wouldn't work.
With 40+ BD team members each needing a pipeline of 60+ qualified leads at all times, and the requirement that everything had to live natively within DevRev's own platform, the team needed a custom-built Bitscale environment designed specifically for their infrastructure.
The Solution
1. Native DevRev CRM Integration
The core unlock for DevRev was building a native two-way integration between Bitscale and DevRev's own internal CRM — not HubSpot, not Salesforce. Bitscale was configured to read from and write directly to DevRev's platform, so workflows trigger automatically based on CRM activity and enriched data flows back into deal records in real time.
2. Automated ICP List Building
DevRev uses Bitscale to continuously build targeted account lists using LinkedIn signals, job change triggers, and funding events — so SDRs always have fresh, intent-rich prospects appearing in their DevRev workspace without any manual research effort.
3. Waterfall Phone + Email Enrichment
Contacts are enriched across multiple data providers in a waterfall sequence (Apollo → Lusha → additional sources), achieving 85–87% coverage on phone numbers and strong email hit rates across their global ICP — all syncing automatically into DevRev records.
4. AI-Powered Research & Personalization
Bitscale's AI agent analyzes each contact's LinkedIn activity, company signals, and role context to generate personalized outreach hooks — delivered directly into DevRev deal records so reps can action them immediately without switching tools.
The Results
The native integration was the key that unlocked Bitscale for DevRev at scale. With 40+ BD members now running workflows entirely from within their own CRM, adoption was seamless — no context switching, no new tool to learn, just enriched pipeline appearing directly in their existing workflow.
The team now books over 200 meetings per month through Bitscale-powered workflows — a 4x increase over their pre-Bitscale baseline. Manual research time dropped dramatically, freeing reps to focus on conversations and closing.
