Overview

Special Olympics is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver, it aims to transform lives through the power of sport, promoting inclusion, physical fitness, confidence, and community participation.
