Company Directory for Whitfield Regional Hospital

Whitfield Regional Hospital

Overview

The healthcare industry has undergone tremendous changes in technology and services since Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital first opened its doors in 1953. What began as a 29-bed facility with 25 employees and only four patients has grown into the Tombigbee Healthcare Authority operating a total healthcare delivery system that includes a 99-bed hospital and provides more than 30 healthcare services for the community. This evolution of care has included the implementation of a hospitalist program in 2018 and a milestone as the first hospital in the state to be part of UAB's tele-ICU program.

The organization is committed to growing and adapting to meet the community's current and future healthcare needs while providing a safe, compassionate environment conducive to healing.
