Overview

This public school district, established in 1960, serves northern Colorado with a reach spanning more than 1,800 square miles, predominantly within Larimer County and including Fort Collins. It provides education to approximately 28,000 to 30,000 students through a network of over fifty schools. Guided by a seven-member Board of Education and its superintendent, the district’s mission is to foster educational excellence for every child, every day.
