NYS Loving Education At Home (LEAH) is a statewide Christian organization dedicated to supporting and promoting home education throughout New York. One of its major purposes is to support a statewide network of homeschool chapters by and for home educating parents.
LEAH promotes home education as the Scriptural design for education, seeing institutional education as an alternative to the home. It upholds the principle that every family has the legal and constitutional right to home educate in New York State, regardless of their educational philosophy or religious affiliation. The organization is not a church, nor is it intended to replace the ministry of the local church to the home education family.
