Overview

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is a public higher education system in Kentucky, consisting of 16 community and technical colleges and over 70 campuses statewide. Established in 1997, it is the largest postsecondary institution in the state, serving more than 101,000 credit students and 21,000 non-credit students each year. The system is dedicated to enhancing workforce readiness and providing affordable education to all Kentuckians.

Offering a variety of programs, including associate degrees, transfer pathways, and online courses, KCTCS is recognized as the largest provider of online education in Kentucky.
