Overview

GRAIL is a healthcare company based in Menlo Park, California, with additional locations in Washington, D.C., North Carolina, and the United Kingdom. Founded in 2015, the organization focuses on early cancer detection to alleviate the global burden of cancer. Advanced technologies including next-generation sequencing and machine learning are utilized to screen for multiple cancer types before symptoms arise. Extensive lab facilities support clinical programs that have enrolled over 385,000 participants to date.

The flagship product, the Galleri® test, is a multi-cancer early detection blood test that screens for signals from more than 50 cancer types. Launched in the US in 2022, it aims to enable earlier intervention for cancers lacking standard screenings. GRAIL also provides telemedicine services for Galleri access and has formed partnerships with healthcare systems and organizations, including the UK National Health Service and Samsung, to expand reach and enhance cancer care.
