Florida Virtual School (FLVS) is a fully accredited, not-for-profit public school district in Florida, recognized as the first Internet-based public high school in the United States since its inception in 1997. It provides flexible online education options for K-12 students, serving public, private, charter, and homeschool families both in Florida and across the nation.

FLVS began as a pilot project and has grown significantly over the years, now offering more than 190 online courses designed around Florida state standards. The school operates key programs such as FLVS Full Time, an accredited K-12 online public school, and FlexPoint, which provides content and courseware for virtual and blended programs nationwide.
