Evangel Church

Overview

We are a church focused on pouring into people's lives so that they will know Christ, grow in community with one another, and go out and serve the world in the name of Jesus. The church has a deep history, starting as a small German-speaking church in Elizabeth, and eventually moving to Scotch Plains, where steady growth has resulted in hundreds of congregants attending services each Sunday.

Our ministry places a strong emphasis on spiritual development, outreach, and faith-based service through a range of programs, creative arts, and opportunities for community engagement that reflect our commitment to discipleship and fostering meaningful connections.
