Overview

Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) is a global e-learning program established by Cisco Systems in 1997 to teach Internet technology and IT skills. It prepares students for entry-level careers and industry certifications, and by its 25th anniversary in 2022, had reached 17.5 million learners across 190 countries. The initiative aims to train an additional 25 million individuals over the next decade.

NetAcad provides free, high-quality IT courses using a blended learning model of web-based content, hands-on labs, and instructor-led teaching. The curriculum includes essential networking skills and Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) preparation, with added support through entrepreneurship training and mentoring.
