Overview

The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established in 2016 to enhance eHealth governance in Australia. Its mission is to accelerate the delivery of connected healthcare for all Australians, aiming to improve health outcomes through national digital health services and systems. The Agency reports to State and Territory Health Ministers and focuses on engagement, innovation, and clinical quality.

ADHA operates as the System Operator of the My Health Record system and leads the national digital health strategy. It provides technology services, ensuring the delivery of secure and reliable digital health infrastructure, and develops digital solutions that include analysis, data management, and user design.
