Asbury Theological Seminary

Overview

Asbury Theological Seminary is a multi-denominational Christian graduate school located in Wilmore, Kentucky, founded in 1923. It is the largest seminary in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition, emphasizing orthodox Christianity, scriptural holiness, and egalitarianism in ministry. The seminary has a strong commitment to spiritual formation and servant leadership, with a motto of “The Whole Bible for the Whole World.”

Serving over 1,700 students from more than 80 denominations and 40 countries, the seminary offers a comprehensive range of master’s degrees and postgraduate programs in biblical studies, theology, ministry, and leadership. Its E. Stanley Jones School of World Mission and Evangelism provides specialized training in missions and global outreach.
